IT Network Technician II

Town of Middletown has a full-time opening for an experienced IT Network Technician II.  This level performs complex technical support and/or systems administration for the Town in support of mid-range or most complex local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) independently.

Qualifications: 

• Proficient in problem-solving
• Min. 3 yrs. experience installing, testing, and configuring desktop hardware, software, peripherals, cabling
• Min. 2 yrs. experience supporting Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Android devices
• Min. 2 yrs. experience supporting Azure / AWS Cloud resources
• Min. 2 yrs. experience with virtualization
• Good verbal and written communication skills to convey complex, technical information.
• Degree/relevant technical certifications in computing, network, or telecommunications with 7 yrs. administering computer networks. 
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ and / or other equivalent industry certifications
• Valid driver’s license
• Successfully pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
