The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT), in conjunction with the Delmarva Central Railroad, invites the public to attend a public workshop to learn about the upcoming closure and detours related to the railroad crossing at N. Broad Street (SR71) and Middletown Warwick Road-also known as Frogtown Crossing. The project will include the replacement of the existing railroad crossing, the installation of new railroad warning signals and the upgrading of DelDOTs traffic signals. This workshop will also provide information on the overall project schedule.
The Public Workshop will be held on February 25, 2020 at the Middletown Town Hall Council Chambers. Project information and display boards will be set up from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., where questions will be answered in an open format, there will be no presentation. Interested persons are invited to express their views in writing, giving reasons for, or in opposition to, the proposed project. Comments will be received during the workshop or can be mailed to DelDOT Community Relations, ATTN: Richard Sinegar, Railroad Program Manager, P.O. Box 778, Dover, DE 19903 or sent via email to dotpr@delaware.gov.
This workshop location is accessible to persons having disabilities.
