Andrew "Drew" Chas was elected to the Town Council on May 15, 2014. He is the Town Treasurer and oversees the Town's electric department. Dr. Chas is a Middletown native, who graduated from Middletown High School and received his bachelor's degree from Wilmington University in 2005. In June of 2009, Councilman Chas graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa. Before leaving Palmer, Dr. Chas participated in a clinic abroad mission trip to India. Dr. Chas works for Camp Chiropractic in Middletown.
In his free time, Councilman Chas is active in Middletown's Big Ball League and in the Wilmington Athletic League. He also participates in Meals on Wheels in Middletown and in his local church choir.
